Furniture Disassembly and Reassembly
For large, bulky furniture or office equipment (cubicle dividers, etc.), MOOvers Chicago provides disassembly and reassembly services for no extra charge. Disassembly of bulky items further protects items and the environment during the move and transport. Additionally, it facilitates the efficient loading of moving vehicles. Once unloaded at the new location, MOOvers can reassemble the furniture for no additional charge.
The main caveat to our disassembly services is any furniture made of pressed wood or particle board (i.e., flat-pack furniture). This is due to their lack of structural integrity, as these pieces are not designed to be disassembled. Our movers will always do their best to secure and protect your furniture during transit, but they cannot disassemble flat-pack furniture.

Furniture Wrapping and Unwrapping
As part of the standard fee, MOOvers will wrap furniture to further protect it it during moving and transit. Once at the destination, we will unwrap the furniture and discard the wrapping material.
There is an additional cost for the wrapping materials, such as tape and bubble wrap. Moving blankets and moving pads are free for same-day use. If you are moving into storage or out-of-state, there is a nominal charge for the blankets and pads.
